Internship at Bates Real Estate

2025

 

Working as a social media and creative content intern, I was tasked with executing the rebrand of former Bates and Myers Company to Bates Real Estate and building my own personal “blueprint” along the way. As well, I headed up social media for the company owned AirBNB, Honeysuckle Manor.

 

I worked with the marketing team to strategize how to reach the company’s target audience through social media, email campaigns, flyers and direct mail that successfully reflected the new brand.

 

Over the course of 6 months, I was able to increase engagement on all Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook by an average of about 230%. We also saw a huge increase in consistent post interaction.

Over the course of my internship, I learned how to utilize resources such as Mailchimp, Canva, Instagram Analytics and LinkedIn Analytics to track progress and design content.

 

I also learned how to stay on top of quick deadlines and turnarounds with new listings along with internal communication strategy.
